One of my 4th graders just shared this:

Been messing with it for 5 minutes, and I love it:

By default, it's set for 4 measures, you can add percussion to the two rows at the bottom.... experiment, change voices tempo, when done, you can save and "Copy the Link" to have students post their compositions back in your Google Classroom.

Chrome Music Lab
Re: Chrome Music Lab
Thanks for this Wayne, my students have really enjoyed it.
Just for fun ->https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/ ... 9565231104
I inputted a simple 12 bar blues (Freddy Freeloader) and had students write improv during the measures of rest (with some guidance).
Here are a couple of browser based apps (because we can't do much outside of Google Suite) that I'm planning on using for composing, etc.
https://patternsketch.com/
https://semiconductor.withgoogle.com/
Also, using this with my older students because it is compatible with G Suite:
https://gsuite.google.com/marketplace/a ... 7?pann=gam
It's a bit of a learning curve for them, but at least is keeping their note reading and composing up.
